Alaska's Glacier Bay Travel provides a multitude of cruises aboard yachts, and cruise ship lines providing summer services in Alaska. Each is a
unique experience with varying degrees of interaction within the Eco-system.
- Gustavus Marine Charters
- Captain Mike Nigro is a former park ranger and
commercial fisherman, and has been operating boats in the area for over thirty
years. His daughter Megan brings culinary skills from her years in Italy and
South America to your table. Gustavus Marine Charters is one of a very limited
number of charter concessions that is authorized by the National Park Service to
operate within the Park. Entry permits for Glacier Bay are extremely limited so
try to book early, but don't hesitate to call 'last minute" as cancellations
sometimes occur. Our forty-two foot Californian accommodates up to six guest for
our Glacier Bay tours. There are two full size double beds in a large aft cabin
and two single berths in a smaller forward cabin. Both have their own head and
shower. A spacious main cabin and open fly bridge make viewing and photography
effortless. The icy waters of Glacier Bay determine our menu. Salmon, halibut,
and Dungeness crab are a few of our regular gourmet dishes. Special diets can
easily be accommodated with adequate notice.
