See the Wonders Others Pass By

On the edge of Panama's Darien Jungle, you step from an inflatable excursion craft onto a beautiful sandy beach. A tattooed man, the headman of this Embera village, welcomes you ashore with a smile and a handshake. People have assembled to show you their village, dance their local dances, display their impressive crafts, the intricately patterned basketwork, and fine coco bolo carvings, and just warmly welcome you into their world. Your small-ship voyage takes you into an area that is hidden from most who visit here. In Costa Rica and Panama, our experience and local contacts have opened many doors, and people enthusiastically receive you into their communities and their lives.
