DAY 9 INBIOPARQUE AND RAINFOREST AERIAL TRAM Transfer from the hotel to the INBioparque for an included breakfast and a guided visit of the park. Continue to the Rainforest Aerial Tram for a tour and included lunch. Journey to the Centro Neotr6pico SarapiqufS. You have leisure time, dinner, and visit the Alma Ata Archaeological Park for insight into Costa Rica's indigenous history. You'll then overnight in Centro Neotr6pico SarapiqufS. BLD

DAY 10 HACIENDA POZO AZUL Today you will have the opportunity to select two activities at Hacienda Pozo Azul from horseback riding, a treetop canopy ride, river rafting, a float trip, a dairy farm and butterfly garden visit, or hiking. Overnight in Centro Neotr6pico SarapiqufS. BLD

DAY 11 POAS VOLCANO AND LA PAZ WATERFALL GARDENS Continue to Poils Volcano National Park, surrounded by lush vegetation, then to La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Explore the Butterfly Garden and Hummingbird Gallery. You'll overnight in Arena!. BLD

DAY 12 ARENAL VOLCANO AND HOT SPRINGS Have leisure time before you depart for a tour of the Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs. The classically conical shape of the volcano dominates the plains of San Carlos, rumbling and emitting occasional puffs of smoke. Visit the local hot springs for a swim followed by dinner at Mirador Kioro. Overnight in Arena!. BLD

In Costa Rica, you can see monkeys in their natural habitat, tiny poison dart frogs along a trail, large blue butterflies too beautiful to believe. You may observe toucans, scarlet macaws, crocodiles, or dolphins. Many of the habitats where you will find all this nature are under protective status. The country has more than 30 national parks, wildlife refuges, and biological reserves that are open to the public. Other habitats are in forest reserves, Indian reserves, and protected zones. Even some individuals have established private conservation reserves.
