Welcome to the Bear's Nest Cafe and Cabins and introducing our new internet cafe. We built our home and cafe from the trees we fell to clear the land in 1989. We also shipped in materials by tug and barge from Seattle WA to complete the job. We worked on the cafe for 10 years fixing and changing things until we got it right. Old baskets hang from the 10 foot ceilings. As you look around the room, you'll find antiques, old books, and oil paintings on the walls by Melvill Holmes and Lynne E. Morrow. You definitely won't leave the Bear's Nest cafe hungry. Enjoy your meal of Wild Alaskan King Salmon with red pepper coconut sauce as you look out the nine large picture windows at the organic gardens.
